Directions and Setup Instructions for the Saunders Middle School (Boy Scout Troop 964) Setup, 20 - 21 March 2002:

Note:  Additional information including route numbers and setup instructions will be posted here as that information becomes available and certainly within the next couple of days, so check  back!

From I-95 coming South

Take the Prince William Parkway exit, going to Dale City/Manassas. Stay on the Prince William Parkway until you come to Minnieville Road (Rt. 640...  you will have just passed a BJ's and a MacDonald's on your right).

Turn left onto Minnieville Road.  Stay on Minnieville Road for a bit over 6 miles, crossing Dale Blvd. in the process.  

At the traffic light with Spriggs Road (Rt. 641) turn right.  You will know it's Spriggs Road because there's a Food Lion (the only one you will see on Minnieville Road) on the right, at the corner.

Stay on Spriggs Road until you arrive at Saunders Middle School, at 13557 Spriggs Road.  It's the second school on the right and is in the neighborhood of a mile down Spriggs Road.  

From I-95 coming North

Take the Rt. 234 exit, going to Manassas.  Stay on Rt. 234 until you come to Spriggs Road (Rt. 641).  There's a light at the turn-off.  Turn right onto Spriggs Road.  

Stay on Spriggs Road until you arrive at Saunders Middle School, at 13557 Spriggs Road.  It's the second school on the right and is several miles down Spriggs Road, approximately a mile past Minnieville Road (the only traffic light you'll encounter during your journey on Spriggs Road).  

From Manassas

If you take Rt. 234, turn left when you come to Minnieville Road (Rt. 640).  Turn left onto Spriggs Road (Rt. 641).  

Stay on Spriggs Road until you arrive at Saunders Middle School.  It's the second school on the right and is in the neighborhood of a mile down Spriggs Road.  Street address will be posted as soon as I get it! 

If you take the Prince William Parkway, turn right when you come to Minnieville Road (Rt. 640).  Stay on Minnieville Road for a bit over 6 miles, crossing Dale Blvd. in the process.

Setup Notes: 

The setup runs from 10 am - 5 pm, Saturday and from 1 pm - 5 pm, so participants should plan on being there by 0800.  Tear-down is at 5 pm on Sunday.
