August 10 - 13, 2000Approximately 30 members of NVNTrak travelled over the long 9 - 13 August weekend (Weekends can be as long as necessary when you're runnin' trains!) to attend the Edison 2000 N Scale East model train convention and what a time we had! An "official" after-action report of our adventures, as well as (I hope!) several shorter "impressions" articles will eventually make their way to this page, as well as (of course!) NVNTrak's newsletter, the Call Board. I think Thorsten said it all: the people - the hosts (thanks to all of you!) and the attendees - are what made Edison 2000 the success it was! That, and the unflagging efforts of the "Red Shirt Brigade", who seemed to be everywhere, all the time, keeping things functioning... Watch this space for a proper write-up and meanwhile, enjoy a look at a gallery of pictures from the show. By the way, the pictures, unless specifically credited, were taken by a variety of club-members... Please be patient when loading the galleries - they will take awhile...
Anybody who's associated with NVNTRAK has heard of Bill Baldwin, our illustrious Quartmaster General, and what has in recent years become an institution in NVNTRAK, the
Who is Harold and why is there a link bearing his name, below? Click on it and see!
As more pictures become available, additions may be made to these galleries. ...and here are some more...
Many thanks to Mitch Brown, who was responsible for almost all of the pictures in this update!
