Well, this isn't really a sign-up sheet but does a bit of
information about the tour!

MONROE Stewart's Hooch Junction - We now have Hooch Jct. operating just for NVNTRAK
and friends on Saturday June 15th, 1 - 3 PM. The drive from
Springfield only takes about 30 minutes across Wilson Bridge and east
on St. Barmabas Rd. to Monroe's Gulch. See map attached.

Hooch Junction fills a 20' x 40' room and spills out into a
6' x
10' Hooch heavy industry area. Monroe would like to take you on a
walking tour from Daisyville back up Schaefer Creek but meantime he
will need club help.
To keep all his trains running from the ship
harbors and steel mills, up and down the long grades across the
mountains and through all the jerkwater towns (and past the logging
RR) Monroe will need some club helper service to run the trains. Is
running trains of interest to anyone?
This is one of the world's best N gage layouts and is not to be
missed. I
always like the "going somewhere" plan and the steady track
grade
running 100' from one corner of the room up to the opposite corner. I
am also partial to Hooch Jct. because I spent many nights helping with
track easements and superelevations and designing and helping with the
New River section.
Monroe keeps upgrading the layout. Horseshoe Curve
was recently bulldozed in and a neat polluting industry was added
above the old reservoir. In fact there are so many details you can't
see them all so Monroe is selling Keeler's video tapes of his layout
for $28. Red circle June 15th to see the finest iN gauge.
