| February 23 - 24, 2002NVNTRAK presented a public layout at Landmark Mall, a large Northern Virginia shopping mall, with a bunch of modules innovatively laid out in a "Keep It Simple" configuration of three separate loops! This allowed us to configure no less than ten tracks and at one point we had sixteen different trains running at the same time! We had a fine turn-out, with most of the club either manning modules or simply passing through during the course of the weekend. One feature of the layout (we really need to get a graphic up to show you!) was that, standing in the middle of the three loops in the public area, you could find yourself completely surrounded by trains...Click on either of the galleries below to see some pictures of the weekend - there are two aerial views (taken from the third deck) that illustrate the track plan.
