Richmond Area NTrak (RANTRAK) 

Does it Again! 

Three years after their first uN-Convention, No Bull 99, our friends at RANTRAK have done it again!  Over the loooong weekend of September 19 - 22 RANTRAK hosted N-scale model railroaders from all over the country at the Science Museum in Richmond to - what else? - run trains!  

In due course, a proper write-up should make its way to this website but until then, here's a brief recap of the weekend's adventures, from the NVNTRAK point of view.  NVNTRAK once again occupied the Henry Clay Inn in nearby Ashland, VA, train-watching nightly until the wee hours.  Bill Baldwin, as usual, manned the nightly crew lounge and did a fine job!  We arrived Thursday morning to take part in the layouts' (that's right - there were two layouts, one DCC and one Analog!) setup...  Trains were generally running by mid-day Friday and from then until tear-down at 5 pm Sunday, that's just what everybody did - run trains!
