Leonard White's Alantown represents a medium-sized town with a passenger
station and an icing facility.
In the days before mechanical reefers (refrigerated cars), the contents were
kept cold by using ice. This meant that, periodically, the reefers needed to be
"iced." Alantown hosts just such a facility.
